I for instance have 4 NZ plastic wall decorations I made into magnets, a piece of Paua, a Jones family crest magnet my Mom sent me, Steve's weekly class schedule and our grocery list. It is a collection of nice things to look at. Things from home that make me smile when I'm cooking and cleaning.
My grandmother vowed to not put anything on her new fridge. When she went to replace her 10+ year old fridge a couple years ago she took off the surplus of things she had on the front of it and found the magnets had left stains and the sun had coloured around the edges of the paper. For her new fridge she decided to keep it blank. That lasted at least a year until things began to creep up. Now it is 1/2 full of art work done by grandchildren and funeral memorials of family members. An interesting collage.
So I am putting the question out there: What is on your fridge? What does it say about you?
This seems to be a popular idea!

I will have to put up a photo of our fridge. Though many of my homemade magnets are hardly readable after their years of service.
