The Birthday Girl

Well it was the big 2-5 last week.  Yes a quarter of a century as soo many of my friends helpfully pointed out. 

I am officially an adult and therefor should be dressing and acting like one I suppose.  My Gap gift certs will go a long way to helping with that!! (Thankyou Jones/Barbers), so will the cute purple leather sidesling purse my Mom and Brian got me.

I am such a lucky girl to have got so many cards and presents.  They are right now lining my bookcase and there are more in the mail every day.  It's a nice surprise to be opening the mail box a week later and still be getting birthday cards.  Like my mother I am a firm believer in stretching out your birthday for as long as possible.

Steve spoiled me with presents, a white chocolate cake and taking me out to a nice Japanese Teppanaki dinner, you know the one where they cook it in front of you.  Between that on Saturday night and KFC on Sunday night I was one happy eater over my birthday weekend!

My bosses even got me presents.  One of them got me a voucher for the National Arts Centre where they put on all the shows.  We are going to see Avenue Q next week which I am super excited about.  I know all the songs word for word.  Steve was surprised in fact to find out I have never actually seen the show. 

So all in all the birthday went pretty well and will continue on for a little while longer, just how I like it :)
